As of now, ReComPR is responsible for the public and media relations for bmi in Germany. This is the first time that bmi, Britain's second-largest airline company with 1,700 weekly flights to more than 30 different countries, is maintaining a stable collaborating with a PR agency in Germany. Recently, bmi began offering six weekly flights from Köln/Bonn to the East Midlands. Company marketing manager Rachel Arnold explains that the company decided to work with ReComPR, "because the agency has already done outstanding work for other airlines in the past." ReComPR works primarily with tourism and service companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including East Midlands Tourism, "The Palm" in Dubai, HRG, Berlitz, Paula's Choice and QGD Hotelmanagement.

The London-based PR agency Four Communications was granted the Holmes Group Sabre Award for the best European PR concept. Four prevailed over competitors from 26 different countries with an eye-catching PR campaign for the opening of the "The Palm Jumeirah" in Dubai. The concept, using the "Spirit of Dubai" blimp to fly over world-famous landmarks, guaranteed considerable attention both in print media and on TV and radio. This was also the case in Germany, where ReComPR from Mainz secured extensive news coverage with a national road show. "We wouldn't have been able to win this award without the first-rate collaboration of our PR partners all across Europe, including ReComPR in Germany," said Lis Griffiths, head of travel PR at Four Communications.

In a two-part pitch, the Mainz-based PR agency ReComPR won over the Berlitz company. Berlitz, a language service provider represented in 57 German cities, would now like to delve into the market for continuing education. According to the Association for Continuing Professional Education, this industry represents a turnover of some EUR 1.3 billion in Germany. Using its new brand "Berlitz Business Seminars", the company will offer 134 technical seminars on 32 different subjects in Germany and Switzerland by the end of the year. ReComPR's communications concept encompasses the idea and the full implementation of the press relations for Germany and Switzerland. Berlitz will invest a considerable portion of its multi-million Euro marketing budget on this new area of the business.

ReComPR will represent East Midlands Tourism in Germany. This Mainz-based agency will be responsible for the PR and marketing of the region centered around its capital, Nottingham city. The area, set in the heart of England, would like to attract more Germany tourists to Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest, Lady Diana's gravesite in Althorp, and a host of medieval cities. The PR agency ReComPR is responsible for the PR in Germany of Dubai's "The Palm". The Great Wall of China and "The Palm" are the only man-made constructs that are visible from space. Nahkeel, one of the world's largest real estate developers with US$30 billion, culled the Palm with its villas, luxury hotels and apartments out of the sea. The first houses are now being finished. Two other palms are now in the works. As the first step in its PR, ReComPR arranged a press road show in Germany.

[October 2006: L'TUR and Rentschler work together :: ReComPR assists in the press relations of Europe?s top last-minute travel provider]

ReComPR will now assist in the press relations for L'TUR, Europe's top last-minute travel provider. This is the first time that this company from Baden-Baden will collaborate continuously with a PR agency. Thomas Rentschler, the owner of the agency, and PR consultant Annika Schnadt will advise L'TUR on its media positioning and help it find topics. They will also organize interviews and write press releases for this company, which last year achieved a turnover of EUR 357 million with 745,000 customers.
